We received a call from a potential client stating he had a 120 ft cottonwood tree that needed to come down. He has had bids from other tree companies but didn’t think they would come and do it anytime soon.
We also received an email from our client that he sent to his friend list. Nothing like a good referral, thanks again Will.
We are landscaping our hill behind backyard and had hired a company in July to come in to take down a 100’ Cottonwood tree in September. The trunk measured 4’+ wide. Removing it would allow for full sun on our hill. This will help greatly with a suitable environment to see with wild prairie grasses and flowers. Sad to say, this company was a no show and no call 4 times over a 3 week period of time.
I had been cleaning out my garage in August and came upon an old receipt from 1998 from the Tree and Stump Company who had taken down a 28” wide 75’silver maple and two cottonwood trees when we lived in Bloomington, MN. I set it aside in the event I would ever need to call them. I was so happy I found receipt. I was stressed and running out of time.

I called The Tree Stump Co. to bid on take down. They were very competitive and I remembered their work from 1998 which was A+, a very difficult tree removal, 5’ from our house. Everything had to be roped and dropped and not a stitch of damage to property or house or roof. They are a family owned business which specializes in difficult removals. Not only did they bid competitively on job they rearranged their schedule to come out sooner then later, realizing my situation, and took the tree down this last week on 14th and 15th.
